Tara’s Top 10 September 2026 Edit

The Beauty, Home & Lifestyle Finds I’m Loving Right Now

I’m a homebody at heart. As much as I love getting dressed up and going out, there are few things I enjoy more than a beautiful evening at home- candles lit, a glass of bubbles, great skincare on the bathroom counter and little details throughout the house that make everyday life feel special.

This month’s Top Ten is devoted to exactly that: small luxuries for staying in. From beautiful objects for the home to a few of my current self-care rituals, these are the things I’m loving this September.

1. Indie Lee CoQ-10 Toner

This has become one of those easy skincare steps I actually look forward to. The antioxidant-rich mist is designed to hydrate, tone, clarify and soften the skin, and I love it as a refreshing step in my routine. It’s simple, unfussy and makes an ordinary morning or evening ritual feel just a little more indulgent.

2. Perfumer H Saddle Candle from Galerie Half

A home should have a signature scent, and this one is decidedly not your typical sweet candle. Saddle is an atmospheric blend of suede, birch tar, cade oil and other warm, animalic notes designed to evoke worn saddle leather. It’s moody, sophisticated and incredibly chic- the kind of scent that instantly gives a room character.

3. Pom Pom at Home Trestles Oversized Throw

I’m forever looking for pieces that make a room feel softer without making it feel overly decorated. This oversized cable-knit throw is 60″ x 90″ with beautiful tassel detailing, so it looks just as good casually draped over the end of a bed or sofa as it feels wrapped around you. An essential for a night on the couch.

4. Schramsberg Sparkling Wine

Because staying home should still feel celebratory. Schramsberg’s Crémant Demi-Sec is an off-dry Napa Valley sparkling wine with a softer effervescence and creamy texture, with notes of citrus, peach, mango and honey. I love the idea of keeping a bottle chilled for an impromptu dinner at home, or for absolutely no occasion whatsoever.

5. SIN Gio Table Lamp

Lighting is everything. The Gio is somewhere between a lamp and sculptural art piece, with a ceramic stoneware base and handcrafted shade that gives off a beautiful, warm glow. It’s the kind of piece that can completely change the feeling of a nightstand, bookshelf or quiet corner of a room without adding clutter.

6. Dior Journal

I love to journal, and I’m much more consistent when the journal is beautiful. This one from Dior is my personal favorite. It’s the fashion equivalent of using the good china on a Tuesday, and a reminder that beautiful things don’t need to be saved for a special occasion.

7. Esencial Hogar x Moda Domus Conserva Ashtray

You absolutely do not have to smoke to appreciate a fabulous ashtray. I love them as decorative objects, placed on a coffee table for matches, on a desk for little odds and ends or simply sitting there looking chic. This one feels playful, collectible and just unexpected enough to make a room more interesting.

8. Business & Pleasure Large Hemingway Cooler

Proof that even a cooler can be beautiful. Inspired by mid-century European cars and speedboats, the Hemingway combines a substantial cooler with an acacia-wood lid, stainless-steel handle and detachable cushion. I love this for the backyard, pool or patio, especially for entertaining at home when you want even the practical pieces to look vibey and elevated.

9. Ritz Paris Bathrobe

I am a “robe person” and this one is quite possibly the ultimate homebody indulgence. The Ritz Paris robe is made with Egyptian Mako cotton terry and comes in the hotel’s signature apricot-peach shade. It’s plush, elegant and exactly the sort of thing that can make a Sunday morning at home feel vaguely like you’ve checked into a suite in Paris.

10. MBR Enzyme Cleansing Booster

My final pick is for the serious skincare girls. This powder cleanser uses enzymes including lipase and protease along with ingredients like niacinamide and kaolin to cleanse and gently exfoliate, with the goal of refining texture and reviving dull-looking skin. I love anything that turns my evening skincare routine into a proper ritual, and this is exactly that.

The September Mood

This month, I’m embracing the art of staying in. Good lighting, great skincare, something soft to curl up in, a beautiful scent filling the room and a bottle of bubbles in the refrigerator.

Because I’m increasingly convinced that luxury isn’t about saving beautiful things for special occasions. It’s about making an ordinary Tuesday night at home feel like one.

Until next month,

Tara
